Transforming small kids clothes into new garments.
The little kids grow so fast that sometimes new clothes become small after wearing them just a few times. Back in July of 2015 I made two tops for my daughter and both of them were too short by next summer. The good thing was that I still had scraps and I decided to alter both of these pieces by transforming one into a dress, and another into a top with pockets.
My advice- do not rush to throw away small kids’ clothes right away, sometimes you can alter them into something new.

A new look for an old sequined top.
If you don't like your sequined top anymore, but you don't want to trash it or to send to a thrift store, try to give it a new look.
